Clinical Supervisor

The Institute for Multicultural Counseling and Education Services (IMCES) is an outpatient clinic with an APA-accredited clinical training program. IMCES’s doctoral and postdoctoral clinical training programs include international cross-cultural research. IMCES has an immediate opening for a Clinical Supervisor with research skills and background in Clinical Training. 

Candidate must have the following qualifications and job responsibilities include:

  • PhD in Psychology

  • License in California in psychology

  • Ability to provide Supervision (6 hours CE credit in supervision)

  • Certified for any EBP for working with children and adults in California in psychology

  • Experience assisting in research projects, data gathering and data analysis 

  • Interest in advancing the training of helping professionals, specifically in the field of psychology

  • Knowledge of APA-accredited clinical training program

  • Organizational skills, including electronics system for data collection

  • Ability to coordinate projects and conduct seminars

  • Proficient in computer and electronic applications and software (experience with EXYM preferred)

  • Detail oriented

  • Strong communication skills: written and verbal

  • Excellent attitude and aptitude for working with the Director and Clinical Training Faculty

  • High commitment to the ethical principles, mission, and vision of IMCES

Please note that the ability to manage highly stressful situations is a prerequisite for this position, as stress is inherent in working with individuals with mental health and emotional conditions.
